Itinerary
Cusco – Abra Malaga – Sta maria – Sta teresa – La Playa Loreta
At around 06:00 -06:30 on the first day, our transfer will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby. We’ll then take you to Abra Malaga using our transport service. During your stop in Ollantaytambo, you’ll have the chance to shop for trail essentials before continuing the journey to Abra Malaga. Our professional tour guide will be waiting for you there to give you advice and instructions about the bike tour. You’ll then start the downhill ride until you reach the archeological site of Wamanmarca. Our tour guide will provide some information about the site, and you can take photos while enjoying a boxed lunch. After lunch, we’ll head to Santa Teresa, where you can have dinner at a traditional restaurant in an ecological lodge. Finally, you can relax in one of their rooms for the night.
La Playa Loreta – Inca Trail Llactapata Incan Site – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes
After breakfast on the second day, you will be transported by our private bus to the Hydroelectric. Once you arrive, you will embark on a one-hour walk to a local restaurant for lunch. After enjoying your meal, you will continue walking for about two and a half hours until you reach Aguas Calientes, where you can unwind and settle into your preferred hotel.
You will spend the night in Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
On the third day of the tour, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and take you to the bus station where you’ll catch a tourist bus to Machu Picchu, also known as “The lost citadel of the Incas”. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, your tour guide will give you a detailed explanation about different sites around Machu Picchu. You’ll also have the option to visit Waynapicchu, and then you’ll have some free time to take photos.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll return to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have free time to have lunch at a place of your choice. After lunch, you’ll head to the train station and board a train to Ollantaytambo. At the train station in Ollantaytambo, our transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
